Leaving Cape May and heading toward Atlantic City was an open water Beam sea all day in the Atlantic Ocean. We decided to travel the entire Jersey coast on the outside. It was a beautiful day, but rocked from side to side ALL DAY. Ate cheese and crackers and nothing else due to a little sea sickness on my part. Took lots of naps.
We stayed at the aquarium in Atlantic City, which offers a small marina with a few transient slips. This marina is nestled in a harbor on the back end of Atlantic City - not on the Atlantic ocean side. Lots of shops there and of course there's the boardwalk and all of the casinos. Joey played black jack and I went shopping. It was a nice time to get away from each other and have some alone time. Traveler beware - we had the bus ride from hell to the boardwalk. I thought taxis could be rough in a city, but this bus ride took every bump wide open to the point our heads bounced off of the top of the bus.
